With this course we include the mandatory AHA Educational Products, plus we teach a pretty awesome Instructor Course! But it costs $800 bucks,...Surely there must be cheaper options out there for some type of instructor training, where you don't get the educational materials, people's time and efforts, resources, support time, an actual facility to train in etc., so might as well quit reading already.
Wow you did not quit, and you are still reading. You must know where your heart is! That is the first requirement for being a CPR instructor. Because, this is all about Training and Education, it is also all about the Human Heart. When it comes to the Mandatory Educational Products in the Education and Training Industry in Hawaii (Regardless of which national organizations educational materials and regardless of what type of training offered to public), if you hear "Man, Duh! That's not Tory at all bro. Eh, can ask my cousin." ... Don't believe it! That is a very disturbed interpretation of the distribution to the public. If you want to learn something, go to your public library and read the libraried books all day long. If you want to distribute education and training to the masses, all this works differently than making everybody read those libraried books. Yes, even in Hawaii, educational materials go hand in hand with education and training industry. All this also takes substantial amount of work and customer support time which is all provided by humans. It also takes an actual place to do it all (As in like in this particular universe and in this particular dimension of existence - Not in the cloud), plus working with equipment that is actually not made of fairy dust, but complies with US manufacturing standards. All that is not purchased with funny play money. For reals! So now you too can laugh and scratch your head, when you see the "Magically Low Prices" for some of those provider classes out there. On the internet, when the consumer is given a choice of a massive fruit salad of classes from all sorts of sources, as a local Hawaii based 501(c)3 public service organization it is our duty to help consumer figure out the difference between the apple and the orange. So thanks, for not comparing other peoples virtual picture of something that looks like an apple to our actual orange. Mahalo, for your support.
About the course:
This is an instructor course, that will allow the participant who has successfully completed the course to offer Heartsaver First Aid, CPR AED classes when aligned with Fast CPR, an AHA Training Center also a Federal Government recognized 501(c)3 training and education organization. Fast CPR provides Administrative Training Center Support to the aligned instructors Fast CPR trains across all the Hawaiian Islands.
About us, Fast CPR, the little simpletons that teach your course:
If you are not familiar with us, please do your own research. You will note that the infrastructure, market presence, market penetration and support systems we built for the past 20 years in Hawaii, helps instructors aligned with Fast CPR make a substantial difference in the entire State's health, safety and employment outlook through education and training. Now after that is out in the open, for everyone's convenience, we'll stop talking all corporate. Because we got up at all kine hours and carried more manikins on our backs, totally pressed more manikins than anybody and their uncle around on this side of the ocean,... Now we have something to offer a potential instructor candidate that wants to get out there and teach all this stuff for real.
Two decades of local market research and statistical analysis conducted by Fast CPR indicates what we do works. So pardon our silly language and honesty. We talk to strangers and even say Hi when we get in an elevator. Help others, enjoy your blessings and laugh. That is life! Very thing we teach people how to save!
Life moves on, so here we go with the details of your Instructor Course:
After reading the details of the course on this entire page and at the Instructor Course Information Link, if you still need more information please call 548-7711 EXT 0. Serious inquiries only please, although we are fun people, how we work and what we do is no joke. Being an instructor requires punctuality, timeliness, dedication and several other attributes some people may consider un-healthy or against their way of life. This is not as easy as one, two, three or five minute abs. Plus, every time we cut down to 4% body fat, those abs were never that easy.
If you are an existing instructor:
Cool beans. We welcome you - sorry still got to go through everything. You might say, "Eh what kine welcome is that Bro?" Pardon us, we teach the most current content, with the most current educational materials by AHA. You get your educational materials to take home regardless and at the end of all of this, so do your students if you are aligned with us. Because we actually track, no one falls off the wagon before, during and after. We are blessed to have lots of wagons and lots of good people that help us, help others. So gitty up and join in! Yee ha! We realize many people are totally qualified, but we want those who will cowboy up, get off the high horse and show us through their hard work day in day out, they have what it takes to give the best of themselves to train others. We only want the best and so do you. If you are an existing instructor with any sort of experience what so ever, you know what happens if the links in the chain are weak. All this applies to chain of rescue, chain of support, chain of education distribution, chain of happiness, chain of progress or what ever sequential thing you can think of.
When you pay for your Instructor course, money for the products go to AHA distributors, rest of it goes to recover the program costs it takes for us to deliver classes to Hawaii Public. With this course we include the following goodies and services:

Help Fast CPR rescue Hawaii from the Pirates of the Pacific!
Hey Hawaii! Pirates are cool in the movies, but in real life they drain the life out of the CPR Training Industry. Say no to pirated Educational Materials! Please don't download them, don't upload them to the internet for the entire planet to enjoy making it look like the gift of Aloha from Hawaii and don"t pass them around company internal networks!
Eh, let them copy this one too:
Our instructors only distribute to their students the Real Educational Materials, that are purchased from the Authorized Distributors with the Real, Hard, Cold, Hawaii Green!
Upon completion of purchase of the Instructor Course here on this page you are looking at, you will receive an email with the AHA Key Code for the Provider eLearning Course (AHA Product # 15-1403). So basically, "cha-ching" pay, get your code in email automatically, go to https://fastcpr.myonlineaha.org enter your code, finish that online course and print the completion certificate. Do all that couple of days before coming into the day one of the instructor class (You pick the first day of the course as you sign up on this page). Know that online stuff inside out, get familiar with the online product and how it works, this will be the main AHA product you will be distributing to your students (AHA Product # 15-1403). Your students got to know all that and a whole bunch of other things we got to go through with you. That right there is the most current content, according to the newest guidelines.
Be patient Grasshopper, that was just the first step. Your Kung fu will be very very strong if you study with the right people, and if you have what it takes in your own heart. You must learn to hold your stance and structure. Being an intructor is work. Work is a four letter word for some and joy for others. When it is all said and done, you will be dealing with humans, their emotions, habits, schedules, anxieties, feelings and everything else involved in interacting with humans. After all, this is about the human heart. So don't think all this education and training stuff is going to happen with just the push of the button. Become one with the product and know that it was designed to help humans. Maintain your human-ness, be nice to people, do a good job and you will be fine. Plus if all this works out, you have us. Even our CEO has taught over 10,000 classes. If that guy can do it, so can you. Have desire in your heart. All the good things that were ever established, were established through that.
Part 2 of Your Instructor Package - The Knowledge Package:
We provide a ton of information and a darn good instructor training. It takes a lot of human effort. Anybody tells you it doesn't, hasn't really taught any classes to actual humans. There is a lot of interaction, and we expect a lot from the participants. Once the class is pau, we will even tell you about our cool experiences in teaching the AHA Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Provider Course thousands of times to the Hawaii Public. People like what we do and we are very blessed. But don't go off and tell people you are Fast CPR after all that, we have very strict advertising and copyright guidelines we enforce. So do other organizations mentioned on these pages. This is not some type of business opportunity offered here. Also it is not a job offer either. Finishing this course does not guarantee employment.
What to Expect:
There is no talk story kine, or hang loose time during the course. This is a high speed, high action course, that is fun! This course takes at least two days to complete in our classroom, it also requires a computer with and internet connection, at home study time and course monitoring with in 60 days of finishing the instructor course. Details Here.
Course Fee: $800.00 Includes the cost of the training we provide and AHA educational materials listed above. We don't advertise under-priced classes that are BYOB, that is the Training Industry cheapskate term that stands for Bring Your Own Book or Educational Materials. As an instructor you should have all this material, if you are really doing all this for real. Most people can't bring educational materials from the past life when they were an instructor, plus the materials already changed anyway. So it is a real requirement Bro! We are not going to wink with one eye and tell you "Hey bring your own."
This course requires payment during the time of sign up. Date picked below indicates the first day of the class. Day two is conducted on Sundays and will be scheduled individually to allow some flexibility for you. Participant must finish both days of the training. Course monitoring will be scheduled on a different date. For support and questions please don't call our various call centers, call 808 548-7711 ext 0 instead. Pick a date you like for the first day of your class, we will now tell you all about the products all the AHA instructors suppose to make sure their students are using (Not only the instructors we train), if the instructor is aligned with a training center.
